What this does
You pick a published rating and dependent status. The page shows the matching cell from VA’s monthly compensation table.
What this does not do
It does not look up your award, guess a rating, or file a claim.
Published VA rate table · not your rating · not an award · we do not file
This page shows monthly disability compensation amounts VA published for ratings and dependent statuses. It looks up a cell in that table. It is not an individualized rating, not a prediction of an award, and not a dollar outcome for a specific veteran’s claim. We do not diagnose, and we do not write a nexus opinion. We do not file.

2026 rates. Effective December 1, 2025. VA.gov page updated 2025-12-02. Last verified 2026-10-02. We organize and educate. We do not file.
The figure is the published table cell (plus published add-on rows only when you select them). VA decides any rating, dependent status, and payment. Entering a rating here does not assign one. This product does not prepare or prosecute a claim and is not an accredited representative under 38 U.S.C. §§ 5901–5905.
How to read this benefit-rate lookup. Pick a rating percent VA publishes (10 through 100) and a dependent status that matches a row on VA’s table. The page shows that published monthly cell. At 10% and 20%, VA publishes no higher rate for dependents, so those choices are not added. Additional children and spouse Aid and Attendance are added only on the rows VA publishes them for. The total is published-table arithmetic. It is not an award, not your rating, and not a filing. We do not file.
Nothing is selected yet. The tables are the published rates. Selecting a row is still education — not a result for you, not a filing, and not claim readiness.
VA’s own example on the veteran-rates page: a 70% rating with a spouse and 1 child ($2,074.45), plus two additional children under 18 ($76 each), plus a spouse receiving Aid and Attendance ($141), shown as $2,367.45. That is VA’s published arithmetic example. It is not a calculation of your award.
2026 rates. Effective December 1, 2025. VA states these ratings do not pay a higher rate for a dependent spouse, child, or parent.
