Who we are

• Veterans Benefits AI is run by MAOMA Enterprises LLC ("we", "us"). Questions go to [email protected].
• We are an independent company. We are not part of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and are not endorsed by VA.

What the service is

• Tools to help you organize your own VA disability claim: store your records, search them, line them up with the published VA rating rules (38 CFR Part 4), track dates, and write your own statements.
• It is for education and organizing only.

What the service is not

• It is not legal advice and not medical advice. Nothing here makes us your lawyer or your doctor.
• We are not a VA-accredited representative, claims agent, or attorney, and we do not represent you before VA.
• We do not file anything with VA for you. You review and file everything yourself, or with a free accredited representative such as a Veterans Service Officer (VSO).
• We do not promise any rating, decision, back pay, or dollar amount. VA decides your claim.
• We never take a percentage or cut of your VA benefits. You pay only the flat subscription below.

You check and file your own claim

• You are responsible for what you send to VA. Check every date, quote, and form against your own records and VA's official pages before you use it.
• If our tools and an official VA source disagree, the official VA source wins.

Optional AI buttons

• Some pages may show optional buttons marked “AI”. They run only when you press one. When you do, only what that button needs is sent to OpenAI through its API, as our Privacy Center explains.
• AI can be wrong. It may miss things or misread a page. Always check the answer against the page it points to. AI answers are not legal or medical advice and do not predict a rating.

Your account

• You can sign in with your email and a password, or with Google or Apple when those options are shown.
• Keep your sign-in safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else got in.
• Give us a real email address so you can confirm it, reset your password, and get account emails.

Your records stay yours

• Files, notes, and statements you add belong to you. You give us permission only to store and process them so the tools work for you.
• We do not sell your data, do not use it for ads, and do not use it to train AI.
• You can download or delete your files, or delete your whole account, at any time. How that works is explained in our Privacy Center.
• Only upload records you have the right to use, such as your own records.

Sharing with a VSO

• Sharing with a VSO is off unless you turn it on. You make a share code and send it yourself. Codes expire, and you can revoke one at any time.
• A share code is not a power of attorney and not a VA Form 21-22. It does not appoint anyone to represent you.

Price and the website free trial

• The subscription is $9.99/month or $107.99/year, per veteran. It renews on its own each month or year until you cancel.
• On the website, Stripe handles payment. The 14-day free trial needs a card. If you do not cancel, your card is charged on day 15 and then on each renewal date.
• One free trial per account.
• You can cancel anytime from Billing in your account. Cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged. After you cancel, you keep access until the end of the trial or the period you already paid for.

Buying in the iPhone or iPad app

• If you subscribe in the app, Apple handles the purchase. Apple's own terms for App Store purchases apply to it.
• Manage, cancel, or ask for a refund through Apple: tap Manage subscription in the app, or open Settings, then your Apple ID, then Subscriptions. We cannot cancel or refund an App Store purchase for you.
• Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it with Apple too.

Refunds

• Website payments are not refunded for a partial month or year, except where the law requires it. If you think you were charged by mistake, email us and we will look into it.
• App Store refunds are handled by Apple.

Fair use

• Please do not: break the law with the service; upload someone else's private records without their permission; try to get into another person's account or data; test, probe, or attack our systems; scrape the service or overload it with automated requests; resell or copy the service; or use it to file false or misleading claims.
• We may limit, pause, or close an account that breaks these rules or puts other users at risk.

Changes to the service or these terms

We may change or stop features. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it accurate and running, but we do not promise it will be error-free, always available, or right for your claim. VA rules and rates can change.

Limits on our liability

• To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or follow-on losses, including a denied or delayed claim, lost benefits, or lost data.
• To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the service is no more than what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
• Some places do not allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you.

Governing law

• These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
• If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
