VA disability claims — educational overview

What “filing a claim” means on VA.gov
VA publishes steps for how to file a disability claim, including online and other channels. Those pages belong to VA. Signing in and submitting happens on VA.gov — not inside this product.
A Fully Developed Claim (FDC) is a filing path VA describes when you submit the claim with evidence you already have. Choosing FDC or another path is your decision (or your accredited representative’s). We do not prescribe a strategy.
Forms education vs submitting
Public pages list forms such as VA Form 21-526EZ and additional forms that may apply on some paths. Cataloging or organizing form names here is education and organization — not autofill, not submit, and not a promise that a packet is complete for VA filing.
Veterans Benefits AI is not a claims agent. We do not prepare or prosecute a claim for you.
Empty / early reading
Empty / early reading of this public hub means you have not organized a packet on this product. This page is published VA education only. Empty is not complete. It is not a filing and not claim readiness.
Empty / early hub reading is education and organize only. We do not autofill, submit, or file. We do not pull from a VA account. We do not OCR uploads. Each veteran pays their own monthly subscription — $9.99/mo or $107.99/yr (About 10% off a year paid upfront), a flat monthly or yearly fee for that veteran, never a percentage of VA benefits. Not an organization fee. This page does not appoint an accredited representative.
